The loft is located on the fifth floor (NO ELEVATOR) of a typical “Altbau” in Berlin Neukölln. It is designed in an open space, though still having some private areas. It's a contemporary space with a lot of personalities and decorated with memorabilia, design objects, art pieces, sculptures, ceramics, silverware, books, and MADE IN ITALY furniture.
The apt is planned as a wide living open space where the kitchen is positioned at the center. The living area is distributed around the kitchen and is further divided into the dining area, living room, and a library corner. The wooden beams provide a transparent and natural division of the spaces. From the living, there is direct access to a private balcony (5 sqm circa)
Being an attic floor, the apartment benefits with a lot of sunlight. In order to make the most of the brightness coming from the South, there is a semi-transparent wall to divide it from the Northside, where the bedroom, studio, bathroom are.
This wall is out of wood and opal polycarbonate panels. Being semi-transparent, it allows the sunlight to enter to the rooms during the day and to work as a big lantern during the night, creating a charming and relaxing atmosphere.
In addition to the flat is possible to access the rooftop (30smq circa) with a wonderful view of the Berlin skyline. Reach out for more info regarding the rooftop.
