I find it exciting when documentaries make use of elements of the arts. Through light, movement and different perspectives, they succeed in telling stories in a new way, in order to regain the attention of a fast-moving society. As a trained all-rounder, I have taken on not only the realization but also the conception of projects, thus acquiring a profound knowledge of the production of reportages and fictional stories. My clients in recent years have included brands like Spotify, Warsteiner, Yamaha, Mercedes, BRLO, production companies and agencies like UFA Ficton, Fischerappelt and TLGG, magazines like VICE and Der Spiegel and other institutions like the Education Innovation Lab and Erika Lust.

Even though aesthetics play an important role, for me pure beauty is not enough for the selection of an image. For me it is important that there is something intense, ironic or interesting to discover in pictures. Above all, I am fascinated by portraits. With each of my own projects I want to overcome obstacles and understand connections. In my first personal photography project, I merged the charisma of Renaissance paintings with the best sellers of American junk food chains. My undergraduate work was a gonzo book project in which I indulged in the hedonism of long-time travelers on an island in Central America and documented the decay of the island commune. Previously unpublished is my series showing US war veterans moving back to Vietnam.

I love to travel and especially abroad I enjoyed immersing myself in different cultures, learning new things and challenging my own views. Photography always helped me to overcome barriers.

In terms of videography, I mainly produced image films and social media content. I was part of the permanent aftermovie team of music festivals such as Melt, Splash and Lollapalooza, filmed music videos, short reports and campaign videos.

In 2021, I had the honor to participate in the Instagram series @IchbinSophieScholl as a Digital Creator. It is a pilot project of BR and SWR that shows a vivid insight into the life of the young woman who became a symbol of resistance against the Nazis. I was welcomed to participate in this project as a digital creator and take care of the multimedia social media content: Photographs, Videos, Reels and Boomerangs.

Good design, the intensive examination of topics and the attention to detail are very important to me and have been rewarded so far, on my Instagram more than 10,000 people follow my work.
